Coronavirus frontline testing is just one place where you will find American ingenuity in practice. For example, many U.S. made products are now at work to win the battle against COVID-19. One of those testing products uses glass syringes made by Precision Electronic Glass in Vineland, NJ. Certainly, the PEG team is proud to learn that their glass components are among those fighting coronavirus.

According to the Mercury News, the staff at a Sunnyvale-based lab equipment supplier had no idea the company’s products were being used in coronavirus research until they saw it on the news. NBC News aired a March 21 segment about the work being done at Walter Reed Army Institute of Research to develop a vaccine for the coronavirus. As reporter Gabe Gutierrez chats with researchers at the Maryland facility, Crystal Gryphon from Art Robbins Instruments (ARI) can be seen briefly in the background.
